The Nestique standard
The standards we hold before a product carries our name.
We buy from a short list of Peninsular Malaysian source houses we have visited. Each intake is logged against the house, the harvest window and the cycle it came from, so a finished case can always be walked back to the wall it was lifted from.
Purity is a subtraction discipline. No bleaching agents to brighten colour, no gums to rebuild broken strands, no fillers to add weight on the scale. Colour variation between lots is expected and left visible rather than corrected.
Cleaning is done by hand under light, strand by strand, in a temperature-controlled room. Drying is slow rather than forced, because heat buys speed at the cost of structure. Storage stays climate-held until the moment a case is packed.
The final look is part of the standard. Every case is weighed, inspected against its lot record, silk-lined and sealed by hand — built to be reopened years later rather than discarded after the first serving.
